Industrial antioxidants are employed in fuel additive packages to protect the shelf life and thermal stability of various automotive and aviation engines. Increasing a fuel's shelf life under different thermal conditions may contribute to increased engine efficiency and performance, and potentially reduce fuel emissions.

Polnox's PNX antioxidants were tested against current commercially antioxidants used in today's fuels. An independent laboratory tested Polnox's antioxidants against commercial antioxidants with industry standard tests used to measure oxidative resistance. As illustrated below, Polnox's PNX antioxidants provided significantly longer material protection to engine fuels than standards met by today's commercial antioxidants.
